How to Set Up IPTV on Android TV & Google TV

Install IPTV on Android TV, Google TV, Chromecast with Google TV, NVIDIA Shield, Sony, TCL and Hisense TVs. Simple steps from the Google Play Store.

About 5 minutes

Android TV and Google TV are found on Chromecast with Google TV, NVIDIA Shield, and many Sony, TCL, Hisense and Philips TVs. They are among the best devices for IPTV because compatible players are available directly in the Google Play Store.

What you need

  • An Android TV or Google TV device signed in to a Google account
  • Your login details from us on WhatsApp
  • At least 10 Mbps per screen for HD

Step-by-step setup

  1. Open the Google Play Store from your home screen (on Google TV, use Apps → Search for apps).
  2. Search for the player app we recommend on WhatsApp and select Install.
  3. Open the player and choose Login with Xtream Codes API, or Add playlist → M3U URL if we sent you an M3U link.
  4. Enter your username, password and server URL exactly as written in your message.
  5. Let the channel list and TV guide load, then open Live TV and start watching.

Tips

  • Turn off Match content frame rate if you see a black screen for a second when switching channels.
  • On Chromecast with Google TV, a USB-C hub with Ethernet gives a noticeably steadier picture.
